2008 April Newsletter
Dear Parents: Happy Spring and Happy Easter! We hope everyone enjoyed a happy and safe Easter.
During the first 2 weeks in April, the children will be learning the following: The difference between insects and arachnids. The chilcren will learn the life cycles of butterflies and why spiders are considered arachnids. The last two weeks, the children will learn about amphibians and the life cylce of a frog.
During the month there will be activities related to the beginning sounds of the letters we are learning and working with. This month there will be lots of rhyming, sequencing, forming letters and numbers and addition. If your child wants to bring a book about insects, arachnids or amphibians, please write his/her name on the book, send it and we will return it as soon as we finish with the lesson.
